The internal family system (IFS) refers to each person's inner community or part of "family". Often our internal systems are organized around emotional pain and how to deal with it. We will work with you to relieve pain, relieve problem areas and problematic behavior, and restore your genuine passion for life.
The ultimate goal of Internal Family System (IFS) therapy is self-guidance – the idea that each person is based on a sense of self-energy which contains many important leadership qualities such as perspective, trust, compassion, and acceptance.

At the heart of the internal family, therapy is the belief that there is a calm, loving self within each of us that cannot be harmed.
We also have many "sections" that help and protect us for life. Sometimes, based on our experiences in the world, this part can be extreme, and then getting to a quiet core can be more difficult.
These parts can also cause us to behave in such a way that conflict or stress occurs within us or in those around us. The job of the IFS therapist is to help the client differentiate himself from the parts and gain access to the core.
The ego can then connect to any part and heal it. This allows parts to escape their extreme or destructive roles and enter into harmonious self-led collaboration.
IFS therapy explicitly recognizes the spiritual nature of the self and enables the model to be useful for spiritual development and psychological healing.
