The deaf-blind translation is a prerequisite for deaf-blind persons to achieve full participation, equality, independence, and self-determination in all areas of society. The interpretation of the deafblind is the giving of visual and auditory impressions through an intermediary for the deafblind person.
This is done through three fully integrated elements. These elements are language interpretation; Description of the environment; and leadership. Deaf blind translation is provided by the interpretation method in cases and to the extent required by those who are deafblind.
